Our goal as volunteers was to create and sustain an organization dedicated to raising dollars for cancer research and cancer treatment in Minnesota. We had no particular type of cancer in mind as each and every one of us had faced the devastating impact of the disease through one type of diagnosis or another.
Over the past ten years, events have been organized and supported by the generous donations of friends and corporate or private sponsors of the Cancer Benefit Fund. These efforts have raised more than $625,000 for cancer research and patient care in Minnesota. We strongly believe that Research Cures Cancer.
