A very special thanks
to all of you that helped to make our Dancing For Life 2007
event a
great success! There were so many donations, supporters,
volunteers, and participants that made this year’s event possible.
This year, the Cancer Benefit Fund was successful in raising over
$50,000 for the advancement of cancer research and patient care in
Minnesota. On January 2, 2008 the Cancer Benefit Fund’s executive
committee presented the University of Minnesota Cancer Center with
a check for 75% of the proceeds and the HealthEast Healing
Partners Program with a check for 25% of the proceeds. We are
already in the midst of planning for the 2008 event, so please
continue to check the website for updates!
Again thank you all
for your tremendous support of the Cancer Benefit Fund. It is our
mission to fund research that improves the quality of life for
those living with cancer and to pave a path to finding a cure.
