The
Cancer Benefit Fund
is a non-profit organization comprised solely of volunteers who
seek to raise funds that aid in research for a cure, as well as
support for those living with cancer. Our organization has grown from a group of volunteers
committed to finding a cure for cancer to an established, independent
501(c)3.
All proceeds from this year's event will be donated to the The
University of Minnesota Cancer Center and
HealthEast
Healing Partners Program. Through the research of new detection techniques and treatment options,
The University of Minnesota Cancer Center is making a substantial impact on
the quality of life and survival rates of cancer patients.
The HealthEast Healing Partners
Program links those with cancer to trained Healing Touch
providers. Healing Touch is an energy based, compassionate, heart
based complementary approach to health and healing. Healing Touch
helps restore and maintain health by strengthening the immune
system, promoting relaxation and sleep, calming anxiety,
decreasing pain and nausea, and offering physical, emotional,
mental, and spiritual support.
